ITZU TRI TEAM OFFICIAL SPONSOR
We want to dedicate today's post to our latest sponsorship agreement, since this season we will be the official sponsor of the ITZU TRI TEAM.
The team was founded in 2017 in Belgium and led by Koen Janssen, one of the founders of the ITZU company. Without a doubt, it is one of the reference teams in both Ironman and Ironman 70.3.
After sharing a meal with its founder in Alicante, we knew that this team would meet our expectations and above all, our values. We decided to get fully involved in this project and be in charge of their socks for this season, but also of the production of their promotional video during their training camp in Lanzarote (February 10-17).
This is where the adventure really begins! The 4 of us embarked, Carlos and Oscar in charge of the technical aspects and Alex and I (Jorge) to coordinate the entire production, on a flight to Lanzarote landing early Monday morning. Even so, we still had to prepare all the technical equipment for the appointment we had with the ITZU TRI TEAM the next morning at 7:30 AM in the pool.
On Tuesday, February 12, we woke up in Sands Beach before 7:00 AM and we already found Oscar and Carlos taking resort plans at sunrise with their drone over the sea.
We arrived at the central pool of Sands Beach, where we had met Koen and all his team; Saleta Castro, Martijn Dekker, Colin Norris, Kenneth Vandendriessche, Amber Rombaut, Ruben Geys and Coach Luc Van Lierde. In addition, our friend James Mittchel was also waiting for us.
We introduce ourselves to all the members of the club and my partner Alex is the one who says a few words to introduce our brand, our mission within the team and the idea we have for the promotional video. Meanwhile, Oscar and Carlos take out all their "gadgets" to start recording.
At 10:00 a.m. we have to recharge our batteries at the buffet and plan to go out by bike to be able to
take all the plans we need and avoid roads with a lot of traffic. Finally we decided to go in the direction of Tinguaton making a couple of technical stops in order to take some detailed plans. We closed the morning shooting day at Mai Tai eating by the pool and at 22 degrees.
We still had the last session of the day to go and it consisted of an easy run around the famous Sands Beach triangle as the sun set. Those plans looked impressive and after seeing the final result, it was no wonder.
Here we leave you the final video and we hope you like it as much as we do.
